# Mor Sela

> Mor Sela — founder and engineering leader, twice acquired. Co-founded Cardinal (YC W23) and sold it to Miro; ran Houseparty's mobile engineering into Epic Games. Led engineering at Epic and Miro. Now in stealth, building something new in San Francisco.

morsela.co is a personal site drawn as an isometric studio that builds itself over time: the page opens on a blueprint in 2007 and every chapter of Mor's career is an object that is drawn in as line work and rendered solid the year it happened — Miro is a whiteboard covered in stickies, Cardinal its logo propped on the desk, Epic Games a TV paused mid-match, Houseparty a phone on the coffee table mid group call, and a shelf of notes holds the writing. A scrubber under the room rewinds the clock. This page lists the same career in plain text, so people without JavaScript — and the agents that read the web — get it too.

## Career

- Stealth — Founder (2026 – Present). Early days on something new in San Francisco. Too early to name; not too early to talk — especially if you're the founding-engineer type.
- Miro — Head of Engineering, Insights (2024 – 2026). Joined through the acquisition, then ran the group that turned Cardinal into Miro Insights.
- Cardinal (YC W23) — Co-founder & CTO (Jan 2023 – May 2024). Co-founded and led as CTO. Built an AI product backlog, took it through YC W23, and sold it to Miro sixteen months in.
- Epic Games — Sr. Director of Engineering (Jun 2019 – Nov 2022). Senior Director of Engineering through the Fortnite years, after Epic bought Houseparty.
- Houseparty — Engineering Manager, Mobile (Mar 2017 – Jun 2019). Ran mobile engineering for the group video app teenagers lived in. Epic bought it.
- Aleph VC — Engineer in Residence (Nov 2016 – Mar 2017). Engineer in residence at an early-stage fund — a short season looking at companies from the other side of the table.
- Docady — Director of R&D (Feb 2014 – Jul 2016). Directed R&D for an app that organized the documents every family loses.
- IDF · Unit 8200 — Special Projects Mgr · Team Leader (Oct 2007 – Mar 2014). Special projects in Israel's signals-intelligence unit.
